Eric Kolder and Chelsea Milam defeated the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in federal court after a jury trial on September 28. The EEOC brought suit on behalf of seven former Sonic Drive In employees who alleged they were sexually harassed by a particular manager. The EEOC prevails at trial approximately 96% of the time; however, Kolder and Milam were able to defeat the EEOC and convince the jury that none of the seven claimants were sexually harassed. The verdict was unanimous and resulted in no liability for Sonic.
